NCT ID NCT05126823
First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026
Summary
This study tests if a therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can help cancer patients handle difficult thoughts and feelings better. About 120 adults with breast, lung, or colorectal cancer will be split into three groups: one gets ACT in person plus an app, one gets only in-person ACT, and one gets usual care. The goal is to see if the combined approach improves emotional flexibility, reduces anxiety and depression, and boosts quality of life.
