Summary

This study tests a phone-based therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help people with HIV who drink heavily. The goal is to reduce alcohol use and improve symptoms of depression and anxiety. 300 participants will be randomly assigned to ACT or a standard brief intervention, and followed for a year.
