Summary
This study tested a 4-hour acceptance and commitment therapy workshop for women with obesity. The goal was to see if it could help them adopt and maintain healthy eating and exercise habits. Fifty-two women participated, and researchers measured changes in psychological flexibility, distress tolerance, and valued living at one week and one month after the workshop. The results will help determine if this brief therapy can support healthier lifestyles.
