Can better Pre-Surgery info calm nerves and speed ACL recovery?
NCT ID NCT05273463
Summary
This study is testing whether the way patients are taught about their upcoming ACL knee surgery affects how satisfied they are, how anxious they feel, and how well they recover. About 105 patients at Mayo Clinic Arizona are being randomly assigned to receive different types of educational materials before their operation. Researchers will measure patient satisfaction, anxiety, confidence, and physical recovery to see which teaching method works best.
