New MRI scanner could spot ACL tears without surgery

Summary
This study tests a new type of MRI scanner that may give clearer images of knee ligaments like the ACL. Current MRIs often miss these tissues, but the new method uses a special angle to make them visible. Researchers will scan 20 adults scheduled for ligament repair to see if this technique can accurately diagnose tears and help plan treatment.
