First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at a surgery called ACL augmentation for people with a partial tear of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in the knee. The goal is to see if this less invasive approach helps patients recover better than waiting or doing a full reconstruction. About 30 people aged 15 to 50 with a partial ACL tear and no other ligament injuries will take part. Researchers will measure knee function using the IKDC score after surgery.
