Common blood pressure pills may cut pneumonia risk in stroke survivors

Summary

This study examines whether two types of blood pressure medications, ACEIs and ARBs, can reduce the chance of developing pneumonia after a stroke. Researchers will analyze medical records from over 13,600 patients with both stroke and high blood pressure. The goal is to see if these drugs offer extra protection compared to another common blood pressure medicine.
