First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study looked at whether people taking a common blood pressure medicine (ACE inhibitor) should stop it before a heart scan to protect their kidneys. 44 adults were split into two groups: one stopped the medicine 2 days before and the other kept taking it. Researchers checked kidney function after the procedure to see which approach was safer.
