5-Day brain zap treatment tested for stubborn OCD
NCT ID NCT07198594
Summary
This study is testing whether an intensive, 5-day course of magnetic brain stimulation can reduce symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) in adults who haven't gotten enough relief from standard medications. Participants receive six brief stimulation sessions per day for five consecutive days, targeting a specific brain area. Researchers will measure changes in OCD symptoms and monitor for any side effects over four weeks.
