First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 27 times

Summary

This study tested a new way to treat PTSD in veterans and active-duty service members using a brain stimulation technique called image-guided TMS. Seven participants received daily sessions over two weeks. The goal was to see if this standalone treatment could reduce PTSD symptoms without needing talk therapy. Early results suggest it may help, but larger studies are needed.
