First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 37 times
Summary
This study tested whether a quick, two-week course of image-guided, robot-delivered transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) could reduce PTSD symptoms in 7 veterans and active-duty service members. Participants received daily TMS sessions targeting the right prefrontal cortex. Early results suggest the treatment lowered PTSD severity, offering a potential standalone option for those who struggle with traditional talk therapy.
