First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study compares two radiotherapy schedules for people with head and neck cancer who begin radiation more than 6 weeks after surgery. One group gets standard treatment (5 days a week), the other gets an accelerated schedule (6 days a week). The goal is to see if the faster schedule better prevents cancer from coming back. About 75 adults with intermediate- or high-risk head and neck cancer will take part.
