First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests whether injections made from a person's own bone marrow or fat cells can reduce knee pain from osteoarthritis better than a placebo. About 148 adults with moderate knee arthritis will receive one of these cell injections or a dummy shot. Researchers will track pain and daily function for a year to see if the treatments help.
