First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 32 times
Summary
This study looked at adding a targeted drug called abemaciclib to standard hormone therapy for women with a common type of advanced breast cancer (hormone receptor-positive, HER2-negative) that had spread to organs or had a high tumor burden. The goal was to see how well the combination worked in everyday medical practice. A total of 95 women took part, and the treatment aimed to shrink tumors and control the disease, though it is not a cure and ongoing management is needed.
