First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looks at how changing the breathing machine's pressure during a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) affects patients' lung function after surgery. Researchers will measure airway pressure before and after tightening the stomach muscles, and then track breathing recovery. 120 healthy adults aged 20-50 are being recruited to help understand the safest way to manage breathing during this procedure.
