Summary
This study brings together 60 international experts to agree on clear definitions and management strategies for intra-abdominal hypertension and abdominal compartment syndrome, serious conditions where pressure builds dangerously in the abdomen. Using a structured online survey, the team aims to standardize how these conditions are diagnosed and treated. The goal is to improve care for patients with these life-threatening complications.
