This study looks at how tight the abdominal wall is during hernia repair surgery when a special muscle-cutting step is not used. Researchers will measure tension with a scale and see which patient factors affect it. The goal is to learn how tension relates to recovery and results. About 50 adults with midline hernias will take part.
