New program aims to fix how doctors talk to dying patients
NCT ID NCT06606470
Summary
This study is testing an online training program called ABCs, designed to help doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers improve how they talk to patients with serious illnesses. The program uses virtual workshops and modules to teach communication skills. Researchers want to see if this training makes providers more confident and competent in having these difficult conversations, with the goal of helping patients get supportive care earlier.
