Summary

This study looks at how a device called AbClo, which gently holds the belly together after surgery, affects breathing in patients whose abdomen is left open. Researchers will measure lung pressure and volume before and after adjusting the device, and again after the abdomen is closed. The goal is to understand any breathing changes and how to manage them. The study involves 18 adults in the ICU who are on breathing machines.
