Eye disease prescreening opens door to future gene therapy trials

Summary

This study is a prescreening step to find people with a specific genetic eye condition called ABCA4-related retinopathy, which includes Stargardt disease and cone-rod dystrophy. About 50 participants will undergo genetic testing and eye exams to see if they qualify for future trials of a new treatment called ACDN-01. No treatment is given in this study; it only collects information to help match eligible participants to upcoming clinical trials.
