Can a phone app therapy help heal trauma and addiction together?

NCT ID NCT07146633

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether a self-guided version of eye movement therapy (A-EMDR) can help people who have both post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance use problems. The research team wants to see if this therapy reduces PTSD symptoms and substance use over 4-8 weeks, and if patients find it practical to use. This is an early step to gather information before larger studies can be planned.
