First seen Jan 25, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a 6-minute stepper test (stepping up and down on a small platform) is a valid and reliable way to measure exercise capacity in adults with asthma. 41 people with well-controlled asthma participated. The goal was to see if this simple test could replace more complex treadmill tests for assessing fitness.
