Summary
This study tests whether a special teaching method called '5T Teach-Back' helps patients learn breathing exercises and use a spirometer (a device that measures how well you breathe) before abdominal surgery. The goal is to see if this method improves patients' knowledge, skills, and breathing after surgery compared to standard verbal instructions. 76 adults will take part, and their results will be measured before and after surgery.
