First seen May 08, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026

Summary

This study looks at how a drug called pimavanserin, which blocks a specific serotonin receptor in the brain, affects memory, emotional processing, and decision-making in healthy adults aged 18-45. Researchers will compare the drug to a placebo to learn more about how this receptor works. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help develop better treatments for depression in the future. Participants will not receive any direct medical benefit.
