New MRI scan could replace painful liver pressure test

Summary
This study looks at whether a special 4D MRI scan can accurately measure blood flow and pressure in the liver without needing an invasive needle procedure. It will enroll 60 adults with cirrhosis, some with early-stage disease and others needing a shunt (TIPS) for complications. If successful, this MRI could become a safer, simpler way to diagnose and predict liver problems.
