Could a common MS pill be the secret to faster wound healing?
NCT ID NCT06333171
Summary
This study is testing whether an oral medication called 4-AP can help skin wounds heal more quickly. Researchers are recruiting 150 healthy adults to see if taking this pill, which is already used safely for multiple sclerosis, can speed up recovery from small, standard skin biopsies. The goal is to find a simple treatment that could help millions of people with slow-healing wounds.
