New 3D scanner aims to map the spine during surgery
NCT ID NCT05195580
Summary
This early study tested a new 3D scanning device designed to help surgeons during spine operations. The goal was to see if the scanner could accurately create a 3D map of a patient's exposed spinal bones and match it to their pre-surgery MRI or CT scans. Only two patients were enrolled before the study was stopped.
