First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 26 times

Summary

This study compares three types of 3D-printed resin onlays (tooth caps) for molars that have had root canals. Forty-eight adults will receive these restorations and be checked at 6 and 12 months for how well they function, look, and keep the tooth healthy. The goal is to see if 3D printing can make durable, long-lasting tooth repairs.
