First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests a new, less invasive treatment for adults with hip dysplasia, a condition where the hip socket doesn't fully cover the thigh bone, causing pain and gait issues. Ten participants will receive a custom 3D-printed implant to improve hip coverage. The goal is to see if this implant is safer and as effective as the current major surgery, with faster recovery.
