Summary
This study tested whether custom 3D-printed devices could improve radiation treatment for gynecological cancers like cervical or uterine cancer. The goal was to see if these personalized devices could deliver radiation more precisely to the tumor while better protecting healthy organs. Thirteen patients received standard radiation followed by a treatment using a device designed specifically for their anatomy.
