NCT ID NCT05763615

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 37 times

Summary

This study tested a new way to create 3D models of the head and neck area in young children (ages 1 to 5) who have tumors or birth defects. The models show where important nerves are located, which could help surgeons plan operations more carefully. Seven children participated, and the goal was to see if the 3D maps matched what surgeons found during actual surgery.
