3D models may speed up kidney surgery

Summary
This study tested whether using a 3D model of a patient's kidney before surgery could shorten the time needed for robotic-assisted partial nephrectomy (removing a kidney tumor). 370 adults with small kidney tumors took part. The goal was to see if better planning with 3D imaging leads to fewer complications and better outcomes.
