Summary

This study tested whether free, open-source 3D lung reconstructions could help surgeons perform lung cancer surgery. Thirteen patients scheduled for lung cancer surgery had 3D models created from their CT scans. The study measured how usable the models were and whether they accurately showed the location of lung nodules.
