3D liver maps aim to make cancer surgery safer
NCT ID NCT07297615
Summary
This study is testing whether a new 3D modeling technique can help surgeons better plan liver cancer operations. Researchers will create a personalized 3D map of a patient's liver before surgery and then compare the predicted amount of tissue to be removed with what is actually removed. The goal is to improve surgical planning and reduce the risk of complications after major liver surgery.
