3D tech aims to sharpen Surgeon's view during head and neck operations

Summary
This study tests a new 3D technology that combines standard medical scans (like CT or MRI) with a 3D image of the patient's head and neck to help surgeons during surgery. About 27 adults scheduled for head and neck surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering will participate. Researchers want to see if this approach can successfully overlay scan information onto a 3D model to guide the surgeon in real time.
