First seen Feb 17, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a special ultrasound measurement of blood flow in all three main heart arteries can help predict serious heart events like heart attacks or the need for additional procedures within a year. About 494 adults with coronary artery disease will have an ultrasound during a standard procedure and then be followed for one year. The goal is to see if this new measure can improve how doctors assess risk.
