Summary

This study tests a new 21-valent pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV21) in about 1,092 healthy infants and toddlers. The goal is to see if PCV21 is safe and helps the body produce antibodies against pneumococcal bacteria better than the current licensed vaccine. Participants receive the vaccine alongside routine childhood shots at scheduled visits from around 2 months to 15 months of age.
