Summary

This study tests a new vaccine (PCV21) in healthy infants and toddlers to see if it safely helps their bodies build defenses against pneumococcal bacteria, which can cause serious illnesses like pneumonia and meningitis. About 1,092 babies will receive either the new vaccine or a currently licensed one alongside routine childhood shots. The goal is to compare how well each vaccine triggers protective antibodies.
