Summary

This study tested whether a sugar called 2'-fucosyllactose (2FL) is safe and can help maintain gut health in 70 people receiving a bone marrow transplant. The goal was to see if it reduces infections and a complication called graft-versus-host disease. Participants took the supplement by mouth, and researchers measured changes in gut bacteria and markers of inflammation.
