First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 18 times

Summary

This study tests a new radioactive tracer called [18F]NIDF for PET brain scans. The tracer binds to tau tangles, which are linked to Alzheimer's and other brain diseases. Researchers want to see if it is safe and can accurately show where tau builds up in the brain. About 20 healthy adults and people with memory problems will take part.
