NCT ID NCT07378072
First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 14 times
Summary
This study tests whether limiting food intake to an 8-hour daytime window (and fasting for 16 hours) can reduce liver fat in people with obesity and a type of fatty liver disease called MASLD. Researchers will enroll 72 adults and measure liver fat using MRI before and after 12 weeks of this eating pattern. The goal is to see if this approach works without requiring participants to count calories.
