NCT ID NCT06741761
First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at whether giving nutrition through a feeding tube for only 12 hours a day is safe and works well for critically ill adults in the ICU. Researchers will compare this approach to the standard 24-hour feeding method. The goal is to see if the shorter schedule affects feeding tolerance, blood sugar control, and sleep. About 20 adults will take part.
