NCT ID NCT07445516

First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a special bite adjustment, called Physiologically Oriented Occlusal Equilibration (POOE), helps people with long-term jaw pain (TMD) feel better even 10 years later. About 110 adults who had this treatment or a fake version at a university clinic will be checked. The goal is to see if the treatment leads to lasting pain relief and better jaw movement.
