Summary
This study tested a short, 10-minute therapy called Nightmare Rescripting and Rehearsal Therapy (NRRT) for people with frequent, distressing nightmares. It involved 68 military members and their families who got either sleep hygiene education alone or with the therapy. The goal was to see if this quick treatment could lower nightmare distress and frequency, but the study was stopped early.
