Could one month of blood thinners be enough after heart artery treatment?
NCT ID NCT07592507
First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study compares 1 month versus the standard 6 months of dual antiplatelet therapy (two blood thinners) in people who had a balloon procedure for small coronary artery disease. About 1,484 adults with stable angina or silent ischemia will be randomly assigned to either short or standard therapy. The goal is to see if the shorter approach is just as good at preventing heart-related events while reducing bleeding risks.
