Faster TB shield for transplant patients?

NCT ID NCT05411744

Summary

This study is testing a shorter, 1-month treatment to prevent latent tuberculosis (TB) from becoming active in people waiting for a kidney transplant. Researchers want to see if this shorter regimen is safe, if patients can complete it, and how the body processes the drugs. The goal is to find a more manageable way to protect these high-risk patients from developing full-blown TB after their transplant.
