This study tests a special probe that measures electrical signals to see if any prostate cancer tissue remains after the prostate is removed. About 200 men having prostate cancer surgery will take part. The goal is to help surgeons remove all cancer in one operation.

This study tests a new plastic mouth retractor (a device that holds the mouth open during surgery) to see if it works as well as the standard metal one. The plastic version allows for better CT scans during the procedure. About 20 adults with oral or throat cancer will take part.…
