Surgery showdown: which achalasia procedure wins on quality of life?

This study looked at 38 people with achalasia cardia, a condition that makes it hard to swallow. Half had keyhole surgery and half had open surgery to help the esophagus work better. The goal was to see which approach improved symptoms and quality of life more.
