New gout pill aims to ease flare pain in days

This study tests whether a tablet called dapansutrile can safely reduce joint pain during an acute gout flare. About 300 adults with gout will receive either the study drug or a placebo. The main goal is to measure pain relief 72 hours after the first dose.
