New combo may ease pain after liver transplant

This study tests whether giving methadone and ketamine during a deceased donor liver transplant can lower pain and confusion after surgery. About 50 adults will receive either the drug combo or standard care. Researchers will track pain scores, opioid use, and recovery time.
