3D maps could sharpen colon cancer surgery

This study tests whether a 3D computer model, made from a standard CT scan, helps surgeons better plan operations for locally advanced colon cancer. About 168 adults with stage cT3 or cT4 colon cancer will be randomly assigned to have surgery planned with or without the 3D model.…
